Meetings/Events  

 

Meetings will be held at the Baker College Technology Building on
Fenton and Bristol Rd. at 4 PM unless notified otherwise.

 

We will have phone conferencing for the month of October and a meeting on November 9, 2008.  the meeting will be held at the Baker College Technology Center.  Tentative Guest Speaker: Councilman Delrico Loyd.  We will also finalize plans for our annual Christmas Fellowship.

I have been a UAW member for 40 years. I am presently working at Flint North (formally Buick) I have worked production and am presently working machine and gage operations. I am a divorced mother of 3 and have 11 wonderful grandchildren. I am a proud member of Buick local 599.1 have been an active member in the UAW on various committees and standing committees such as:

• Education Committee Member
• Area wide woman Coalition of local 599 and
• Civil Rights Committee Member

I have felt strongly about union issues, which led me to run as delegate to our National Constitution Convention. I have also participated in various capacities as an active member at local 599. My Community involvement includes attending.
