     Our History

SISTERS UNITED INC. is a non-profit partisan political organization of African-American women.

 SISTERS UNITED INC. was organized May 24th, 1996.

      Our Purpose

Our purpose is to foster a greater understanding of  the political process of African American Women. 
  Provide educational forum that will help in the recruitment and training of candidates in local, city,
      and state elections.

   SISTERS UNITED INC. will also provide political education on issues effecting our community.
 We will work with other organizations to foster improvements in all areas of community life.
Our Motto is "Sisters United" for progress and the betterment of our community.
